Various custom rear valances can be produced to allow the fitting of engines, exhausts and engine lids not originally intended for the vehicle. Numerous aspects of the rear valance changed over the years, including the depth of the top (for early and late engines) engine lid catch, crank handle hole and exhaust cut out. The majority of these changes can be combined to make a rear valance specific to your requirements. Additionally, the exhaust cut out, normally on the left can be placed in the centre, duplicated on the right for use with a beetle exhaust or left out completely. Other adaptations, including changes for non VW engine conversions may also be possible.
