Hot start relay kit, used to take the load away from the ignition switch and wiring. Many starter/starting issues are cause by high resistance in the original wiring to the ignition switch rather than the starter motor itself. By installing the hot start relay, the ignition switch controls a relay, which triggers the starter motor.
